Edwin is a tall, strong, handsome young man from a remote but otherwise unspecified village in the faraway countryside, who is not at all secretly an undead mage in disguise. The completely normal Edwin wishes to join the Adventurer's Guild, an association of government-funded mercenaries that protect the citizens from dangerous monsters that lurk in the wilds. Edwin's journey will be a perilous one as he learns to fight, makes new friends, and slowly begins to realize that even the best-laid plans don't survive contact with the enemy which, often enough, is none other than he himself. DISCLAIMER: This is not one of those regular OP MC hidden master stories. Edwin won't suddenly start slinging spells and murdering everyone like he's in a bad anime. While magic plays a major role in the world and the story, the actual fighting contains very little magic, at least in the beginning. If you're interested in a realism-focused world where people don't just shrug off hits, with a unique, hard magic system, where the main character doesn't have the power to change the course of history but gets impacted by politics and intrigue just like everyone else, maybe have a look. You might like it.

Goreblaster - a beefcake whose prime ingredient is over-the-top monster slaying, topped off with the delicate frosting of the desperate need for validation and adoration. Under the (mostly) helpful guidance of his hapless assistant slash manager, Percy, the pair turned his natural skills (and incredibly unrealistic physique) into a career of seemingly unending foe-crushing-heroics. Goreblaster is a series of short stories (~10k words each) following the exploits of the barbarian and is a pulp trash novel by intention! Full of questionable uses of the written language and some satire of the fantasy genre. (Think Conan x Dangermouse x a stale cheese sandwich). It is also a meta-fiction within my usual Deathforged universe - a seemingly unending series of unpublished pulp novellas of no known author, the various handwritten tomes having been found all across the world of Othea over several decades.

Also I stole a player's character (with his permission!) in the form of Sigmundurr. Also, unlike Life 1, I'll be posting this slowly over time. Wanting nothing more than to find a way home, and also saddled with being the world's new [Demon Lord], I found myself trapped in a gamelike world and also somehow a part of the [Hero's] party. So join me as I tell the tale of my struggles. A tale of levels and skills. A tale of cagey game admins and bugs. And a tale of our party's grand quest to defeat... Well... Me. ---- What to expect from this book? 1. A main character who is not overpowered (and instead has to go fromnear-useless to strong. Not just weak to strong). If you are looking for an OP [Demon Lord] who laughs at his weakling enemies... This isn't for you. 2. A meandering pace as the characters aren't told how a lot of the world works and have to figure it out themselves. (And because there are a lot of characters. Whose idea was it to have a party of 9? I blame Jake) 3. A tragedy. A lot of things arenot going to go well for the protagonist. (Not that everything is tragedy all the time. There is humor, laughter, friendship, and even a mascot monster character who got way more popular than I expected. But this is not a story that will leave you uplifted and inspired after every time you read it). ---- Release Schedule and publishing information: Book 1 is complete!
