I awaken to a startling realizationI've transformed into a dragon! My wife and children still slumber, oblivious to my newfound form. Panic courses through me as I grapple with this surreal existence. No longer human, I must make a hasty escape to prevent my growing size from bringing our house down. But the world beyond is unkind. I'm hunted, captured, and subjected to torment, cast as the feared Leviathan, a creature of religious dread. Will my spirit shatter under the weight of these trials, or will I find the strength to resist? In my fight for freedom, I seek refuge and form unlikely alliances, constructing a new family amidst this bewildering transformation. How will my human family react to these newfound companions? Forced into a different gender by the imperative of rebuilding my species, I find myself adrift in a world devoid of Pok閙on. Monstrotanks? Brotherhood? It's all unfamiliar territory, and I long for peace, disavowing any connection to the charred town that has left a stain on my identity. I am Daathrr, not Sister Noah of the Ark, nor Mr. Freeman's cousin, and Black Mesa is not my workplace. I yearn for solitude in my hangar, far removed from these tumultuous events. My narrative takes an unyielding stance from the perspective of a dragon thrust into the complexities of modern technology, grappling to find a place in our contemporary world. It serves as a mirror to our society, revealing that, despite our technological advances, our mindset often mirrors that of the Middle Ages. Racism persists, but interspecies prejudice is an even darker shadow, stripping beings of their basic rights. How does one retain their humanity when it seems irretrievably lost? As the dragon's persona consumes my human side, it delves into the intricate realm of Dragon Psychology. The language I employ is straightforward, repetitive, and somewhat mechanical. I ask for your patience, as I am not an author, and my native language is French. If clarification is needed, please feel free to comment or request explanations, or simply refer to Google for further understanding. I strive to be as comprehensible as possible for those unacquainted with this world. Lastly, a word of caution: Do not attempt the incantations found within this story. I disavow any responsibility should scales suddenly begin to sprout upon you! Additionally, I do not own all the images used, and if any issues arise, I will promptly replace them. ATTENTION THE 70 first Chapters can induce depressions for some readers. There are unbearable sc鑞es of suffering when the MC is in an experiment lab with mad scientists. The story can be disturbing and hard to follow. There are like the TV serie LOST with mysteries, answers not explained, flashbacks and flashforward chapters. Also timeline can be broken. This is due to paradoxes. A paradoxes is when reality meet an other dimension, other time and it crashes when the MC goes back to another time with him in the same dimension. They cannot meet and they cannot be 2 Yvan at the same place at the same time or meeting. Then time froze and an sinister agent in dark blue suit appear : The G-Man! If you are totally lost there is a SPOILER in the tome2 and the explanation of this twisted story in the chapter 3 (Explanations of the tome 1)

A new kind of warfare dawns in the early years of the twentieth century, planned and perpetrated by a mysterious individual known only as the Challenger. Rumor has it this challenger could fit in the palm of your hand. This won't do for the residents of Minimil, a city in a barn that has a reputation to keep up. Filled with shoulder angels and devils, fairies, enchanted toys, Lilliputians, and every other kind of small magical creature, they can't simply stand by and watch as the name of the tiny is smeared. So they send out an elite team including a gingerbread soldier haunted by battlefield visions of the nutcracker and mouse king, a tiny automaton built by Leonardo da Vinci, and a ghost of a not-really-notable Christmas past to investigate in this novella inspired by Alan Moore's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. In this sort-of exciting sequel that nobody asked for, a mouse hero is forced to gather allies in order to stand against an overwhelming evil force. Oh, wait, sorry, that was the plot of Rodentia Adventures, the first book. Let's see... oh, here we go! In this story, a different mouse hero is forced to gather different allies to stand against a completely different overwhelming force. Yes. That's much better.

I'll be blunt. I am NOT going to finish this story, not in its current state. That's why, I'm rewriting it from the very beginning. The new version of Forgotten, and the one that will have a proper ending, you can find here on Royal Road under a brand new title - Terra's Demons: Forgotten. Lucas, codename Helix, is the combat techno-medic of Demon squad. It was their task to protect Station 37-H and project Goliath. All Lucas is certain of is that something went terribly wrong in what was going to be their last stand. He was prepared to meet them on the other side. Instead, he finds himself in a familiar place surrounded by faces he has never seen before. His last memory separated by centuries from the present. His first priority is to find his squad. His second one is to keep the secrets of Goliath. His third priority is to figure out how to achieve the previous two because he and the entirety of Demon squad have become nothing but spectres in the annals of history. He has become forgotten.

Join Mary Susan Oceanrunner on her quest to do... erm... something really important for the world... probably... Ahem. Long gone are the days when every hero could do whatever they wanted - now, we are civilised. We have government. Law. And proper forms. Lots of proper forms. (Final episode 25/07/2022. Also - beta readers far into the book rate the 'gore' degree as below 2/10, so the warning is a bit much) Mary Susan Oceanrunner is a poor girl from the orphanage, who like many others before, has to fulfil her destiny. The prophecy had been told, and she is the only one who can make things right. Erm... probably. Anyway, she can't just go and kill monsters like in the middle ages. First, she must apply for the appropriate permissions, fill the forms, learn about the proper loot taxations... Hey, no one said adventuring would be easy, right? Disclaimers: No claim made by any character by the book should be treated as the author's or anyone else's opinion on any subject. Most likely, it was just the funniest thing the Author could think of at the time of writing. This book contains many references to other works. It will probably be best enjoyed by individuals familiar with at least some of the following: 1) Computer games2) Fantasy in general3) Science fiction4) Tabletop RPGs5) Conspiracy theories6) Corporation work life7) Long forgotten prophecies uttered millennia ago in almost as forgotten languages under a starless night three dusks before the great convergence8) Filling any government-mandated form9) School10) EnglishMy ultimate goal is to make as many people experience something akin to joy while reading (think ~a bit louder exhale through the nose). It doesn't mean every scene will be funny or joyful because that's not how this stuff works. I can neither confirm nor deny having any other hidden agenda outside of that. An ancient evil stirs in the kingdom of Avaraline, and the fate of all life in a world blessed by magic hangs in the balance. The Guilds and Clans, who hold the power of the lands, are ill equipped to deal with the unknown threat, with corruption spreading through their ranks. Not that this is of any consequence to Izen, a young man struggling to survive in a dying village, and Myne, a talented young Dragon rider seeking to prove herself. That is until the infamous Witch is sensed near his village and Izen becomes intertwined in world of the Dragon riders. Literally, with the magic awakening in him too. The complication, is that only females can be riders. [The first half of chapter one desperately needed an update to fix some issues and match my more recent writing style, and this has now been done. Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments!
