Poem
Dream
I dream.
.: A raptor lying in a rainforest after the rain watching young ones at play.
.: A selkie swimming as fast as they can away from the cruel whistling ones.
.: A large polar bear padding through a heavy snow storm.
.: A wild horse galloping across dusty, windswept plains.
.: A serval lying high on a leaf covered branch in thick jungle. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
.: A squirrel hoarding food for winter.
.: A raven gliding through a dark sky.
.: A dormouse lying in a deep, leaf filled burrow.
Who am I?
I Dream.
.: Thunder. Lightning. Darkness. Pain. Fear. The sky.
.: Cold. Wet. Deep. Hate. Death. The sea.
.: Warm. Dry. Shallow. Light. Love. Life. The land.
Memories. Dreams. Wishes. Loves. Desires. Hates. Anger. Fear. Pain. Joy. Past. Present. Future.
Who am I? What am I?
.: Nothing, for this life, but human.
Fur and Feather. Scale and Skin. We all bleed. We all cry. We all laugh. What is the difference between any life form on this planet? Nothing. We all live. We all die.
.: Nothing lives or lasts for ever. Treasure what we have now, for tomorrow it may be gone.
