Hell Path
Where are we now?
My moves have been made,
And I`m just on automatic,
Where are we now?
Alongside eternity?
Are we just waiting?
Last I heard we cycled round,
There were several answers I was graced with,Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
But now we`re back,
Doing it all over again,
And the people,
Still seem the same,
Still following the path,
And the people,
Within each contained,
A sort of confidence,
Well, at least I have it,
Maybe hell is still hell,
I feel as if I`m standing on solid ground,
But maybe in other places,
The feeling`s still fresh,
I can still laugh,
Understand emotion,
Somewhere deep down,
I remember the yearning,
And sometimes,
I offer a prayer,
If hell does still exist,
This I would say,
As consolation,
As a time tested solution,
For the creek you`re crossing,
The car you`re driving,
Just follow the path,
Laugh when you can,
And don`t hesitate,
If hell still does exist,
You should know,
God built that road himself.
