The floor was hard and a bit cold; it seems like the blanket does little work, but you`re still thankful. It`s definitely much worse without one. You could hear Lone man`s steady breathing as he lay next to you.
"I always leave my pillows and blankets to dry out in the sun," He said. "It smells different, don`t you think? I mean, sun-dried things have a different smell, right? It smells warm, it smells comforting, and it feels like a tight embrace." He stopped abruptly. You heard him shift. Strangely, you could feel his presence closer to you.
"I do," you replied.
