Epilogue
Ten years later&
Emry sat in the library. It took awhile, but it was finally finished. Ezekiel sent her the letter a couple months ago, and she had never been happier to make the journey out here. All her funding of the project for Ezekiel went to good use, and now other`s would be able to read the books her and Ezekiel read. It was a beautiful site, exactly like she imagined. The white marble with the gold decorations were even more spectacular than Ezekiel`s drawn out descriptions of them. She had to admit, his words captured their essence perfectly. If he wasn`t a scholar, he should have been an author instead.
"I`m glad you could make it to the grand opening," Ezekiel said from behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist. Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.
"I wouldn`t miss it for the world," she said. She turned in his arms and pressed her forehead to his. "Where`s the rabbit you kept talking about?"
"Rabbits now. She had a family. They`re outside in the hutch. I thought that`s where you would have gone first." He laughed.
Emry crossed her arms and pouted. "I wanted to see what you created more than the rabbits you kept because I pleaded with you."
A smile crossed his lips. "I know."
Emry wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips. "Now, let`s open this place up for the world to see."
