Chapter 50: Closing the Net Pt. 1
Just like that, Liu Ti醤 Q`s presence became like the ripples of a stone thrown into a pond spreading outward. Liu Ti醤 Q`s presence changed the fate and the history of the Tolling Lands and the whole Northern Continent. There was only one person who knew of this change. That was Liu Ti醤 Q herself. However, at the moment, she didn`t realize that she inadvertently caused the downfall of Prime Minister Peng.
Liu Ti醤 Q changed the fate of many, and yet she was still oblivious of that fact. As the world began to bleed, the person that played the most significant role in the whole matter was still unaware.
Under the cover of darknesswhile many were still sleeping, the Imperial City of the Tolling Lands was sealed.
The G騯 Archers encompassed the walls of the city and also patrolled the Imperial City. The Tolling Torches on the walls of the Imperial City and throughout the City were lit. The G騯 Archers, Twenty Thousand Imperial Guards, Twenty Thousand of the Emperors personal Sh Q Army, Twenty Thousand Immortal Warriors, and Twenty Thousand Wang Royal Manor Guards all took the city. The commotion of these many warriors in the Imperial City woke many during the night. However, all citizens were commanded to stay indoors.
Some people ignored the warnings to stay indoors came out and refused to return to their homes. However, after Sh Q warriors quickly silently began to cut down people who refuse to stay indoors, that issue was no longer a problem. People fled back to their homes and stayed there.
Messenger pigeons and fowls took to the skies of the Imperial City as people began to send messages back and forth in an attempt to find out what was going on. Spies in the city realized very quickly something was wrong in the Imperial City of the Tolling Lands and tried to get a message out.
However, every pigeon and every type of fowl used to send messages that were released into the air was shot down by the patrolling G騯 Archers. To make sure not one message slipped through. The Commander of the Imperial G騯 Archers gave the order every bird in and around the city was to be shot down. It didn`t matter if it was a messenger bird or not as long as it was in the sky in or near the city. It was to be shot down.Stolen novel; please report.
After all the citizens were forced back into their homes. The Emperor left the Imperial City under disguise. Outside of the city, he met up with the waiting Twenty Thousand G騯 Army Archers, Thirty Thousand Sh Q Warriors, and Twenty Thousand Shadow Dragoon Warriors. Under the escort of the various warriors, the Emperor quickly proceeded to make his way towards the boarders of Josper.
Shortly after the departure of the Emperor. Wang F鑞 Y襫g left the Imperial City meeting up with his Thirty Thousand Dark Blood Warriors, Ten Thousand Sh Q Warriors, and Ten Thousand G騯 Army Warriors outside of the city where is warriors were garrisoned. Leading the Warriors, he immediately departed. Like the Emperor, Wang F鑞 Y襫g also used a shortcut discovered on the newly acquired map of the Northern Lands to began making his way towards Prince Jing of Josper.
Not long after the departure of Wang F鑞 Y襫g, his father, the Grand Prince, left the City Leading fifty thousand Wang Royal Manor Guards. His wife, the First Lady of Wang Royal Manor, shortly followed him. Outside of the City where her Twenty Thousand Q Army was garrisoned. She also met up with only five thousand of the ten thousand Sh Q Army Warriors the Emperor granted her. After this, like her husband she met up with a Shadow Warrior Deputy Commander to find out the current locations and travel patterns of the wagons she was tasked with securing. After securing the information needed, the First Lady of Wang Royal Manor set out to carry out the duties commanded of her.
One of the last to leave was the Commander of the Imperial guard. Leading twenty thousand Imperial Guards he led them to carry out the command of sealing Veiled Mountain.
As the Emperor, Grand Prince, the First Lady of Wang Royal Manor, Wang F鑞 Y襫g, and others left the City. The Elder had sent a message to his personal Qi F鄋 Army that was garrisoned on the outer skirts of the Imperial City for them to enter the city. After all, who needed to leave the Imperial City left. Seventy Thousand Qi F鄋 Army Warriors enter the Imperial City. The City was resealed, and the Elder took control.
The Qi F鄋 Army was similar to the Sh Q except most of the Qi F鄋 Warriors were once prisoners. These prisoners were re-educated and trained in the same hard cruel manner as the Sh Q Warriors. The Qi F鄋 Army, like the Sh Q, was a different breed of warriors. They were specially trained for the wet work of murder.
These men were only bought out during times of war and to quell rebellions or uprisings. Their cruel manner in handling whatever they were directed to handle was well known throughout the Tolling Lands. No one like to see the Qi F鄋 and Sh Q Armies bought out, especially when they are bought out in the time of peace.
