Chapter 168: Epilogue Part 1

It was because the Emperor felt he had wrong his nephew that he finally gave his approval for Liu Garrison City to be built.

Before doing so, first, the Emperor confirmed with Wang F鑞 Y襫g, his intention to marry Liu Ti醤 Q later. After which, the Emperor issued a secret edict to Wang F鑞 Y襫g decreeing marriage between Wang F鑞 Y襫g and Liu Ti醤 Q.

Secondly, the condition of the Emperor`s approval for Liu`s Garrison City was to grant Wang F鑞 Y襫g the title of Marshal of Liu`s Garrison City. Only then did he grant his approval for the Garrison City to be built.

However, when the Emperor found out that Commander Jiang had hired tons of workers and had already begun construction on the Garrison city, he was sorely displeased and vexed. But, being that Liu Ti醤 Q was lying unconscious in a coma, he was forced to find another outlet for his anger.

That day, many Ministers and Officials of the Imperial court became the scapegoats. However, after releasing his anger on his Imperial court, the Emperor became annoyed and displeased all over again when he found out how many workers Commander Jiang hired.

The plans for the Melded Ore Forges were completed, and construction was ready to commence. However, because Commander Jiang, Construction Manager Kuo, Elder Lai, and the Minister of War hired almost all of the available craftsmen in the Imperial City. The construction for the Melded Ore Forges had to be postponed until craftsmen could be brought in from the surrounding towns, villages, and cities. The Emperor was very displeased.

The seconds turned into minutes, the minutes turned into hours, and the hours turned into days. The days turned into weeks and the weeks turned in to months and time continued to march on.

Whenever Wang F鑞 Y襫g wasn`t carrying out a mission for the Emperor, he was in Liu Residence sitting with Liu Ti醤 Q or overseeing the matters of Liu Residence. Wang F鑞 Y襫g ran Liu Residence in accordance with how he knew Liu Ti醤 Q wanted it to be run.

Wang J衝g Ji had moved into Wang Royal Manor Courtyard, and when he wasn`t studying, he was found days sitting with Liu Ti醤 Q. He would read books to Liu Ti醤 Q or tell Liu Ti醤 Q about the interesting things that happened throughout the day.

Wang F鑞 Y襫g made time to meet with Commander Jiang, Deputy Commander H-i T鄆 Y醤g, and Deputy Commander H-i T鄆 Y鷑 to inspect the house guards and the growing army of Liu Residence. He was also given a tour of the grounds of the Garrison city, where construction was in progress.

Weirdly enough, Wang F鑞 Y襫g and H-i T鄆 Y鷑 got along very well. They were men of the same caliber and strangely enough, had similar temperaments. They were both silent dangerous men who didn`t like people, they understood each other well.

All of the servants and slaves of Liu Residence were thoroughly investigated after the first month Wang F鑞 Y襫g took over. Thirteen servants silently disappeared from Liu Residence after the investigations.

When the deed for the farming land arrived, Wang F鑞 Y襫g turned it over to Agricultural Manager Kuo.

After all, the fruits were harvested and taken to the Charmed Underground Storage designated for fruits. Following the instruction in the package that Liu Ti醤 Q left for him. Manager Kuo began several big projects on the farming land that the Emperor turned over to Liu Ti醤 Q.

It took four months for the construction of the stables to be completed. The five hundred horses that were delivered from the Emperor arrived two days after the completion of the stables. The new stablehands also arrived. Wang F鑞 Y襫g took the time to make sure all of the horses and stablehands settled in.

An old experienced stablehand that came with the new horses was made the stable manager, and SMng Sh was made his assistant. Four other experienced stablehands were made supervisors.

One of the new older stablehands refused to listen to SMng Sh because of SMng Sh`s age and gave SMng Sh a hard time. Wang F鑞 Y襫g mercilessly had him beaten to death in front of all the other stablehands. After that, none of the stablehands dared to disobey SMng Sh orders.

  Lady Wu Y衝 R醤

Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 immediately got to work making clothes and training her apprentices as soon as her Pavillion in Liu Residence was completed.

Unexpectedly to Lady Wu Y衝 R醤, she grew famous overnight. When the noblewomen and Ladies of High-Society of the Imperial City saw the clothes Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 designed for Lady W Gng Hu. the new designs that Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 created instantly became the new fashion.

While waiting for her Pavillion to be completed, Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 utilized that time to design and make clothing for her three children.

When Lady W Gng Hu saw Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 eldest daughter`s new clothes and found out that Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 designed and made them. Lady W Gng Hu immediately commissioned clothes from Lady Wu Y衝 R醤.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.

Wu D騯 Zh was what could be called a tomboy. Most of her clothing where boy clothing. She didn`t wear them to disguise her gender. She wore them because that is what she liked to wear. Plus, they were easier to move in than skirts and didn`t restrict her movements.

So when her mother began creating clothing for her, her mother designed and made clothing that was fashioned beautifully but cut in a more masculine way.

When the Noblewomen of High Society saw Lady W Gng Hu clothes and found out Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 designed and made them, Lady Wu Y衝 R醤`s creations instantly became all the rage among the noblewomen of high society.

The Noblewomen of High- Society was discovering a new range of freedom triggered by their demand to learn to read and write, so the exquisitely beautiful but slightly masculine designs of Lady Wu Y衝 R醤`s clothing became a fashion statement.

In accordance with the instructions left behind by Liu Ti醤 Q, several months into the training of her apprentices, Butler Zhou bought a shop in the most famous part of the shopping district in the Imperial City for Lady Wu Y衝 R醤. In exchange for her shop, Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 begun training seven servants of Liu Residence.

Liu Ti醤 Q had added an addendum to the agreement she left behind for Lady Wu Y衝 R醤. She made it clear that as soon as the seven people Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 agreed to train became proficient in the craft of clothes making, Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 was free to become independent at any time.

Liu Ti醤 Q also made a point of inviting Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 to stay in Liu Residence as long as she wished to stay. Liu Ti醤 Q made it clear in the instructions left behind that if Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 chose to go, no one would bar her way or prohibit her from leaving. And if she wished to stay, the doors of Liu Residence would remain open to her and her family.

After the return of the Emperor`s Shadow Dragoon Deputy Commander, it was confirmed that indeed Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 and her children were the descendants of General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g and so were the Wu uncle and nephew.

The Emperor immediately assigned a team of shadow warriors to disguised themselves and began spreading the story of Wu Family`s uncle and nephew.

Gossip and rumors flew all over the Tolling Lands regarding Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 and her three children. It became known to all that they were the descendants of the hero General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g.

Strangely although this was well known to the Warriors and people of the Leandore Garrison. Outside of the Garrison, many were under the impression General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g`s bloodline had came to an end with the death of the late General Wu and his wife. This oddity stemmed from the neglect of Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 brothers.

Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 and her brothers were illegitimate children that General Wu had with his wife`s maid. Lady Wu couldn`t accept when her maid had became pregnant with children, yet after years of trying her womb remained barren. In a rage, using the backing of her powerful family, Lady Wu chased the pregnant maid away.

In the end, General Wu ended up setting up a house on the outside for the maid. Of course, the people of Leandore Garrison city knew about General Wu`s messy household. However, due to the deep respect that they had for General Wu, and General Wu`s ancestor, very few scorned him, mocked him, or gossiped behind his back.

After General Wu and his wife died in an accident and his children claimed their `inheritance.` For some odd reason, the Heir of Wu Manor failed to inform the Imperial court of this matter.

After the deep investigation carried out under the instructions of the Emperor, it was discovered that due to changes of office, as well as the corruption of officials, the matters of General Wu had slipped through the cracks. Of course, several people were demoted and severely punished for allowing the matters of the late General Wu to slip through the crack.

The Emperor had gone into a rage over the matter. The Emperor clearly saw the kind of person W Qi醤g Ji was and the kind of heart he had. He also saw how deeply the warriors of Leandore Garrison loved and respected him.

Had the Emperor known that W Y+ Di蝞 and W Qi醤g Ji were the descendants of General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g he never would have allowed them to come to that end, especially when he saw for himself the truth behind what led them to their tragic end. The Emperor felt that their deaths were an unnecessary loss, and it grieved him. It took the Emperor a long time to calm down, and he became determined to wipe away the taint of treason that hung over the heads of General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g remaining descendants.

Several high-class entertainment troupes were hired to enact a heart-wrenchingly sad rendition of the death of the Wu nephew, who tried to save a friend. And the Wu uncle, who loved his nephew more than his life.

Not many who went to see these shows walked away with dried eyes. Many people, both nobles and commoners, began to petition the Emperor and the Imperial court to absolve the Wu uncle and nephew. No one thought that they should have been label as traitors to began with, and no one felt that they should have come to such a sad end.

W Y+ Di蝞 and W Qi醤g Ji were the descendants of the famous General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g, who defied death to keep the country from being invaded. No descendant of his should be dishonored in such a manner. Especially when it was blatantly obvious, they didn`t set out to betray the country. They were just unfortunate that W Y+ Di蝞 made the wrong kind of friend.

This was the result that the Emperor was waiting on. When the Generals, Nobles, and Commanders of the Imperial Court began heavily petition the Emperor, finally, the Emperor moved.

W Y+ Di蝞 and W Qi醤g Ji were exonerated of the charges of treason. The Wu Family titles that were expunged, were restored to Lady Wu Y衝 R醤, as were the wealth and lands that were confiscated. Memorial statues were also erected in Leandore Garrison city of Uncle and nephew.

W Y+ Di蝞 and W Qi醤g Ji became cautionary tales that parents used to warn their children about what could happen if you befriended the wrong person.

Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 and her children became even more famous in the Imperial City when the Nobles of High-Society found out they were the descendant of General Wu Ji鄋g Xi髇g. Their fame only ascended when news that they were guesting in the new Liu Garden Residence spread throughout the Imperial City.

The Nobles of High-Society flooded her clothesmaking shop, forcing Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 to drastically raised the price of her clothes. Not because she needed the money anymore. She had recovered the wealth of the Wu family. It was to deter the people who came to her shop on the pretense of buy clothes to seek information regarding the Lord of Liu Residence. She raised the price of clothes so high that only the very wealthy could afford them.

Lady Wu Y衝 R醤`s husband and his family became some of the most hated people in the country. The Emperor deliberately allowed rumor of the treatment Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 and her children received at the hands of her husband and his family to be released into the public.

The Emperor also had an official decree of familial separation drafted and sent to her husband along with the bill of familial separation that Lady Wu Y衝 R醤`s husband served Lady Wu Y衝 R醤 before throwing her and her children out of his manor.
