They are governed as a despotic theocracy, ruled in name by the solitary and omnipotent God, Al'Shazan.In practice, Al'Shazan is bored, flighty, cruel and has little interest in ruling the Empire. Instead the Empire is run by the High Priest, Minister of the Treasury, and the Knight Commander of the inquisition. Their job is to make sense of the contradictory nonsense spewed forth by their living God while simultaneously ruling the greatest nation that the world has ever known. The entire time, they have to maintian the facade that Al'Shazan is a benevolent and loving God in order to maintain morale in the general populace. --------- The actual genre for this is more along the lines of a Fantasy Political Comedy/Drama/Thriller. It will not be 'crunchy' (minimal action, minimal descriptions of powers/abilities) but instead be focusing on world building and political maneuvering. As a warning, it is fairly dark.

Other words: Nee - /niya/ : no Juffrou - /yif-row/ : Miss Lekker - /lacker/ : nice, good, delicious Nooit - /noit/: never The rest is mostly swear words. Indisputably the most useful words in any language and simultaneously holding the least innate meaning. Fok - "fork" without the "r": fuck Bliksem - /Bluksim/: darn, damn. I am offering 37 chapters of Tearmoon goodness plus Anne gets her own epilogue (and for the less discerning readers, I've added a Tearmoon fanart chapter at the end)! After much convincing, Abel has agreed to bring Mia for a formal visit to his home in Remno. He tries to explain to her that his apprehension is due to something much darker than a teenager's embarrassment over his parents. When they finally arrive, even Abel is not prepared for the Remno that his father has prepared for the Princess. Expect to find a bit of Tearmoon sweetness and humor, mixed in with some darker elements (much like the original story). I have attempted to explore the darker elements with a light touch without downplaying the seriousness of the issues being explored (hence, the disturbing content' warning).. Mia, Abel, Anne, the Emperor, and Ludwig are the usual suspects present in this story. A serious effort has been made to stay true to the personalities of the main characters and the general tone of the series but I have given myself free rein to have fun with characters that were undeveloped through the first 9 volumes of the series or create new characters that were needed to make this story work. Through the 9 original volumes,this story had no great conflicts with Tearmoon Empire continuity, but that has begun to change with volume 10 of the official series. I think that this is a very fun story that any Tearmoon fan can enjoy. (Yes, have posted this elsewhere. But I would like to share with as many fans as possible, so I am posting to new places. Also, I love inputespecially lavish praise!)
